We have just finished editing and uploading our first video for the Vinyl Decal Store. In this video, we show how to install a large vinyl decal using a vertical hinge method. We demonstrate this installation method using dry application.
If you do not have a squeegee available, a credit card can be used instead. We will be adding a video soon showing how to install smaller vinyl decals. When installing smaller window decals, watch the install video and use the same techniques or use the vinyl decal installation instructions found on our website. Amy Mickelson, wife of PGA tour golf star Phil Mickelson, announced early last week that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. To help bring awareness to the disease, the PGA Tour is sponsoring a “Pink Out” day at the Crowne Invitational at Colonial on Saturday. Last week stars such as John Daly (pink trousers at the BMW) and Rory Sabbatini (pink shirt at the Byron Nelson) showed their support
for the Mickelson family by wearing pink. Paula Creamer, pro golfer on the LPGA tour, is known as the “Pink Panther” because of the amount of pink she wears during events to bring awareness to breast cancer. Although October is the official month for breast cancer awareness, the news of Amy being diagnosed with breast cancer has spawned an instant campaign of endorsements. So we finally did it. We have joined the rest of the modern world and started blogging. And why not? We have lots of tips and tricks we can share… It is time to start spreading the news.
But first here is a little bit about “us”. Vinyl Decal Store is a family run business. My husband Rob and I are the two masterminds behind the site. He is the technical guy, and I am the one that makes it look pretty when he is done. We have worked together since our first job out of college 10 years ago, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We both work hard and take pride in what we do. If a job isn’t worth doing right, it isn’t worth doing at all.
